WHAT IS PARKING MODE?

Parking Mode allows you to record from your vehicle while your car is parked and your engine is off. The FAS-CAM automatically switches to Parking Mode when necessary, removing the hassle of manually switching your dash cam’s mode before leaving your vehicle.

Parking Mode is helpful in a variety of situations, including:

WHAT'S DIFFERENT ABOUT FAS-CAM PARKING MODE?

NO EXTRA INSTALLATION, NO PROBLEM

THE FAS-CAM IS THE ONLY DASH CAM ON THE MARKET THAT IS DESIGNED WITH AN INTERNAL BATTERY THAT POWERS PARKING MODE, GETTING RID OF THE NEED TO CONNECT YOUR VEHICLE’S FUSE BOX. A HARDWIRE KIT ELIMINATES THE NEED TO HAVE YOUR DASH CAMERA PLUGGED INTO YOUR CAR'S 12V SOCKET. HARDWIRING KITS CAN BE INSTALLED BY CONNECTING YOUR DASH CAMERA DIRECTLY INTO YOUR FUSE BOX, PROVIDING IT WITH A CONSTANT FLOW OF POWER WITHOUT THE IGNITION NEEDING TO BE SWITCHED ON. FOR SOME, THE HARDWIRE OPTION WILL PROVIDE MORE BENEFIT THAN JUST RUNNING PARKING MODE OFF THE CAMERA’S INTERNAL BATTERY. Types of Parking Mode

MOTION VS IMPACT

Records in Protected mode for 30secs

MOTION

PROXIMITY DETECTION

Simply turn off motion detection when parked in a high traffic area to avoid consistent recording from passersby.

THIS MODE IS IDEAL IF YOU:

► Parked in a quiet area with little action

► Want audio in all recordings

G-SENSOR

IMPACT RECORDING

FAS-CAM will record when the G-Sensor detects an impact. Depending on the amount of vibration triggered, closing doors and the car trunk may also trigger this mode.

THIS MODE IS IDEAL IF YOU:

► Want recordings in the event of impact detection

► Want to record the perpetrator of the accident
